Doha, Qatar (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held a significant meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, during an official visit to Qatar on Monday. The leaders discussed the advancement of bilateral ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Qatar, with an emphasis on expanding cooperation in strategic sectors of mutual interest.


The high-level talks focused on reinforcing the strong relationship between the two Gulf nations, exploring ways to deepen collaboration across various vital sectors. Both Sheikh Khaled and Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation in line with national priorities and aspirations, underscoring that such efforts would benefit both nations' economies and populations.


“The UAE and Qatar share a long-standing bond, and our discussions today reaffirm our commitment to strengthening that relationship,” Sheikh Khaled said. Sheikh Mohammed echoed this sentiment, stressing the significance of the enduring ties between the two countries.


The meeting served as a platform for both leaders to address common strategic interests, including economic collaboration, infrastructure development, and cultural exchange. In addition to bilateral ties, the conversation also touched on regional stability and efforts to bolster cooperation within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).


Several high-ranking officials from both nations attended the meeting. The UAE delegation included Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court; Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, Minister of Investment; Khalifa Shaheen Almarar, Minister of State; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism; Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health; Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa bin Sultan bin Shakhboot Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Qatar.


This meeting represents a further step in the ongoing diplomatic efforts to enhance relations between the UAE and Qatar following the recent reconciliation within the GCC, with both nations aiming to foster deeper economic, political, and cultural ties in the coming years.
