Najran, April 1 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Al-Aan Palace in the Najran Region has become a prominent destination during the Eid al-Fitr holidays, attracting both residents and tourists with its panoramic views and distinctive architectural design.

Perched atop Al-Aan Mountain, the palace overlooks palm farms, traditional villages, the historic Raum Castle, and Abu Hamdan Mountain, offering visitors a striking blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Built in 1100 AH, Al-Aan Palace is constructed from clay and features four floors that reflect the traditional architectural identity of the Najran community. The ceilings are made from wood, palm trunks, fronds, and native sidr and athel trees. The palace is also fortified with surrounding circular and rectangular towers that historically served as defensive structures.

A key site for both tourists and official delegations, the palace is open to visitors daily from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM during the Eid period. It offers insight into the region’s architectural legacy, traditional crafts, and cultural history.
