Arab Parliament Speaker Condemns Israeli Statements on Palestinian State in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, February 8, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi, has strongly condemned Israel’s irresponsible statements suggesting the establishment of a Palestinian state within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, warning that such remarks pose a serious threat to regional stability and endanger global peace and security.
Categorical Rejection of Israeli Remarks
In an official statement issued today, Al-Yamahi affirmed the Arab Parliament’s categorical rejection of these statements, emphasizing that they infringe upon Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty, security, and stability. He noted that such remarks represent a flagrant violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
"The security and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of Arab national security," Al-Yamahi stated, reaffirming the Arab world’s collective commitment to defending the sovereignty of all Arab nations against external interference or unwarranted political maneuvers.
Reaffirming Palestinian Rights
Al-Yamahi underscored that these statements also violate the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state within their national territory, including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem, based on the internationally recognized June 4, 1967 borders.
He reiterated that any attempt to undermine Palestinian sovereignty or relocate the Palestinian people outside their homeland is completely unacceptable and stands in direct contradiction to the principles of justice, international law, and United Nations resolutions.
Arab Parliament Stands in Full Solidarity with Saudi Arabia
The Arab Parliament Speaker reaffirmed the organization’s full support for Saudi Arabia in safeguarding its sovereignty and security. He warned that such reckless statements serve only to escalate conflicts, further destabilizing the region and hindering the prospects for a just and lasting peace.
Al-Yamahi called on the international community, the United Nations, and regional organizations to take a firm stance against any rhetoric that threatens Arab sovereignty and undermines the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
Unwavering Commitment to Regional Stability
This strong response from the Arab Parliament reflects the broader Arab rejection of any external interference in Saudi Arabia’s affairs while reinforcing the region’s unified stance on the Palestinian cause.
The Arab world continues to stand firm in advocating for a two-state solution, ensuring that the Palestinian people establish their state on their own land—not within the territory of any other nation. The Arab Parliament has vowed to work closely with regional and international partners to uphold stability, security, and the sovereignty of all Arab states in line with international law and diplomatic resolutions.
