Dubai, April 4 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – With three weeks remaining until the opening of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, organizers have reported a 104% year-on-year increase in visitor registrations, positioning this year’s edition to be the largest in the event’s history.
According to ATM Exhibition Director Danielle Curtis, the rise in registrations reaffirms the event’s role as a key global platform for travel and tourism professionals. “Increased international attendance strengthens the global profile of ATM, providing a vital boost to the local economy and driving revenue in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel,” Curtis said.
International markets now account for 52% of total registrations, while UAE and GCC visitors make up the remaining 48%, underscoring the event’s global appeal and regional significance. The top five registered countries to date include the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom.
ATM 2025 will take place under the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity”, emphasizing the role of both physical and digital connectivity in shaping the future of the industry. Organizers are expecting over 55,000 attendees, including 37,000 visitors and more than 7,000 buyers, alongside 2,800 exhibiting companies from 161 countries.
The event will showcase a growing presence from regions including Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. Last year’s edition saw year-on-year visitor growth of 51%, 53%, 40%, and 26%, respectively, with Saudi Arabia recording a 48% increase.
ATM Travel Tech, the segment dedicated to innovations in travel technology, has grown by 23% this year and will feature a Future Stage hosting speakers from leading global platforms such as Booking.com, TripAdvisor, dnata Travel Group, Agoda, and Skyscanner.
A major highlight for 2025 is the introduction of the Start-up and Innovation Zone, designed to spotlight emerging travel technology companies. The immersive zone will feature virtual reality experiences and provide a platform for start-ups to present pioneering solutions to a global audience.
ATM 2025 is expected to further enhance Dubai’s position as a global hub for tourism and business events while contributing to the region’s economic diversification and innovation objectives.
