Dubai, March 5, 2025 – The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 is set to host an extensive global lineup at its upcoming edition, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1. With an emphasis on enhanced connectivity as a key driver of future tourism development, this year’s event will spotlight growing international participation across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and the Americas.

Under the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity,” ATM 2025 will welcome over 47,000 attendees and 2,600 exhibitors from more than 161 destinations, reflecting the global travel industry’s robust recovery and expansion.

Rising Global Tourism Demand

According to the latest World Tourism Barometer report by UN Tourism, global travel experienced an 11% year-on-year increase in 2024, with 1.4 billion international tourists recorded. The total export revenue from tourism—including passenger transport—reached a record $1.9 trillion, underscoring the sector’s resilience and growing economic impact.

The Middle East emerged as the top-performing region, with international arrivals soaring 32% above pre-pandemic levels in 2024. Looking ahead, 2025 is expected to see further growth, with international arrivals projected to increase by 3-5%.

Asian Market Leads Growth at ATM 2025

The Asia region is experiencing the fastest growth at ATM 2025, with a 27% year-on-year increase in exhibitors, driven by improved regional connectivity and stronger ties with global markets. This expansion is not limited to national tourism boards but also includes regional and city-level destinations, alongside rising private sector participation.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME, Arabian Travel Market, highlighted this trend:"Asia is the fastest-growing region at ATM 2025, with a projected 27 percent year-on-year increase in exhibitors this year. This growth is largely attributed to enhanced regional connectivity and stronger links with international markets, driving expansion opportunities."

Strategic Industry Partnerships

ATM 2025 is organized in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre, with key strategic partners including:

  • Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) – Destination Partner

  • Emirates – Official Airline Partner

  • IHG Hotels & Resorts – Official Hotel Partner

  • Al Rais Travel – Official DMC Partner

With Dubai’s continued rise as a global tourism and business hub, ATM 2025 is set to be a pivotal platform for shaping the future of the global travel and hospitality industry.
