Breaking: Saudi Arabia Confirms Start of Ramadan on Saturday, March 1

Riyadh, February 28, 2025 – The crescent moon marking the start of Ramadan has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, the moon sighting committee announced this evening. As a result, Ramadan 1446H will officially begin on Saturday, March 1.
The crescent was observed in multiple locations across the Kingdom, including Sudair and Tumair, following the Supreme Court’s earlier call for moon sighting efforts on Friday evening.
