Cosmin Olăroiu Appointed Head Coach of UAE National Football Team Until 2027

Abu Dhabi, April 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The United Arab Emirates Football Association (UAEFA) has officially announced the appointment of Romanian coach Cosmin Olăroiu as the new head coach of the UAE national football team. The decision comes as the team enters a critical phase in its bid to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

In a statement released by UAEFA, the federation confirmed that Olăroiu has signed a two-year contract, which will see him lead the national side until 2027. Currently, the UAE national team occupies third place in Group A of the Asian qualifiers with 13 points, trailing Uzbekistan (17 points) and group leaders Iran (20 points).
