Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Meets UK Secretary of State Amid World Economic Forum


RIYADH - His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, held a significant meeting with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, David Cameron, on Monday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the special meeting of the World Economic Forum.


The two officials engaged in a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and explored potential avenues for further development and cooperation. The conversation also encompassed regional developments, with a particular focus on the military escalation in Gaza, and the international efforts being exerted in this regard.


The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials. From the Saudi side, attendees included Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.


Representing the British side were UK Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia and United Nations Lord Tariq Ahmad, British Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Neil Crompton, along with several other senior officials. The meeting marked a significant step in strengthening the ties between the two nations.
