RIYADH, March 21 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Cultural Development Fund (CDF) hosted the 2025 "Storytellers" Suhoor, bringing together senior officials, leaders in the cultural and development sectors, entrepreneurs, and creators from across various cultural fields. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the gathering is part of the fund’s ongoing efforts to strengthen connections within the cultural sector, explore new opportunities, and support the remarkable momentum driving Saudi Arabia's creative industries.

CDF Chief Executive Majed Al-Hogail delivered the keynote address, highlighting the fund's pivotal role as a financial enabler nurturing Saudi culture and fostering creativity. Remarks were also delivered by representatives of the Elite Chefs Center, the team behind the "CHEFPreneur" program — a specialized initiative supported by the fund. The evening celebrated 42 program graduates, honoring their successful completion of a journey that equips aspiring chefs with both culinary and entrepreneurial skills to launch their own businesses.

In alignment with its commitment to supporting projects it has enabled, the CDF showcased several beneficiary initiatives, offering guests the opportunity to experience creative works firsthand. The evening, held in a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere, also featured cultural activities in line with the Year of Handicrafts 2025. Attendees engaged in traditional craft experiences such as prayer bead-making and henna art. A special exhibition by visual artist and craftswoman Naifah Alshahrani paid tribute to the vibrant heritage of southern Saudi Arabia through works inspired by Al-Qatt Al-Asiri, blending color and intricate design.

The "Storytellers" Suhoor, now in its third year, was hosted at AlMashtal Creative Incubator — itself a beneficiary of the fund. The event reinforced the CDF’s ongoing support for cultural entrepreneurs and SMEs, while also fostering strategic partnerships with government entities, the private sector, and nonprofit organizations to drive sustainable growth in Saudi Arabia's cultural sector, contributing to economic development and enhancing quality of life.
