Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Sends Condolences to Malaysian King on the Passing of Former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi


Riyadh, April 15, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, expressing deep sorrow over the passing of former Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.


In the message, King Salman conveyed his sincere condolences to the Malaysian monarch, the late Prime Minister's family, and the people of Malaysia. He expressed sympathy for their loss and prayed for mercy and peace for the deceased.


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also extended his wishes for King Sultan Ibrahim's continued good health and well-being.


Abdullah Ahmad Badawi served as Malaysia’s fifth Prime Minister from 2003 to 2009 and was widely respected for his leadership and contributions to national development and regional diplomacy.
