Diriyah Company and Saudi Tennis Federation Sign MoU to Promote Tennis in Diriyah

Riyadh, February 28, 2025 – Diriyah Company and the Saudi Tennis Federation have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop tennis initiatives in Diriyah, fostering youth engagement, enhancing sports infrastructure, and positioning the historic city as a hub for world-class sporting events.

Under the agreement, educational programs will be introduced in schools and community centers to encourage participation and skill development among young athletes. The initiative aligns with Diriyah Company’s broader commitment to enhancing quality of life, promoting sports and wellness, and establishing Diriyah as an integrated and sustainable global destination that celebrates sports, culture, arts, and heritage.

As part of the ambitious Diriyah project, the city is set to become home to over 100,000 residents and attract 50 million visitors annually by 2030. This transformation aims to create a vibrant, sports-focused community that contributes to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of fostering a healthier, more active society.

The Saudi Tennis Federation has been actively working to elevate the sport of tennis across the Kingdom.
