Dubai International Sports Conference and Globe Soccer Awards Draw Football Stars

DUBAI, Dec. 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The 19th edition of the Dubai International Sports Conference, organized by the Dubai Sports Council, will take center stage on Friday evening at Atlantis, The Palm, alongside the prestigious Beyond Globe Soccer Dubai Awards. The event will bring together football legends, current stars, and over 1,000 distinguished guests for an evening celebrating excellence in the sport.

Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to headline the 15th Globe Soccer Awards ceremony, joined by notable figures such as Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham and Thibaut Courtois, Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, and former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand. Representatives from top clubs and organizations worldwide will also attend.

The Conference, held under the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, offers a platform to discuss key issues in football. This year’s theme, “Talented Football”, will be explored by guest speakers Ronaldo, Bellingham, and Courtois, moderated by CNN’s Amanda Davies, with co-hosting duties shared by Davies and Tom Urquhart.

The Globe Soccer Awards, first established in 2010, honor achievements across domestic, regional, and international football. This year, 15 main awards will be presented, including Best Men’s Player, Best Women’s Player, Best Men’s Club, Best Women’s Club, and the Maradona Award. Additionally, five Career Awards will recognize lifelong contributions to the sport.
