Dubai to Develop ‘Therme Dubai,’ a Landmark Wellbeing Resort at Zabeel Park

Dubai, February 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has approved the development of ‘Therme Dubai’, a groundbreaking wellbeing resort set to become a global landmark.
The AED 2 billion project, to be located at Zabeel Park, will be the tallest facility of its kind in the world, integrating wellness, leisure, healthcare, and entertainment. It is being developed in collaboration with Therme Group, a global leader in wellbeing infrastructure, and is scheduled for completion by 2028.

The launch event, attended by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, reflects the emirate’s commitment to becoming the world’s best city to live, work, and visit.
Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that Therme Dubai aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan, which prioritizes sustainable urban development and wellness-focused infrastructure.
"Therme Dubai will redefine the wellbeing experience, offering a unique environment that enhances physical and mental health, supports sustainable living, and elevates Dubai’s status as a global wellness tourism destination," he said.

Spanning 500,000 square feet and standing 100 meters tall, Therme Dubai is designed to host 1.7 million visitors annually. The resort will feature:
Three themed zones: Play Zone (family-friendly entertainment), Relax Zone (thermal pools, steam rooms, and nature therapy), and Restore Zone (saunas and mineral treatments).
World’s largest indoor botanical garden, supporting urban biodiversity with over 200 plant species.
