Dubai, April 2 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Emirates has officially launched Emirates Courier Express, a new end-to-end delivery solution designed to transform the global express logistics industry. Backed by nearly four decades of operational experience, the initiative leverages Emirates’ vast aviation network to deliver goods with increased speed and reliability.
According to the company, the new service was developed in collaboration with global customers through pilot programs aimed at addressing widespread industry challenges. The result is a courier model focused on flexibility, reduced transit times, and direct origin-to-destination routing.
Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express successfully transported several thousand packages from markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. Average delivery time was recorded at under 48 hours.
“Emirates Courier Express is an evolution in how we move goods across the globe, at speed and at scale,” said Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President, Emirates SkyCargo. “Building on our world-class infrastructure and reimagining traditional logistics processes, this solution sets a new benchmark in express delivery.”
Unlike traditional courier models based on a hub-and-spoke system, Emirates Courier Express routes packages directly, similar to how passengers travel. This approach minimizes handling, reduces delivery times, and improves operational efficiency. The service offers multiple levels, including next-day urgent and two-day premium delivery options.
At launch, the service is available in seven markets, with plans for rapid expansion across Emirates’ global flight network. Emirates operates a fleet of over 250 widebody passenger and freighter aircraft, providing extensive connectivity to destinations worldwide.
To support end-to-end operations, Emirates Courier Express integrates with a trusted network of cross-border partners for customs clearance, as well as first and last-mile logistics, enabling full door-to-door delivery capabilities.
Emirates says the product is now open for business customers looking for competitive, reliable, and fast cross-border shipping solutions.
