India to Expand Presence at Arabian Travel Market 2025 in Dubai

RIYADH, March 25 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — India is set to significantly expand its presence at the 2025 edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM), taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 28 to May 1.
A statement released today projected that India’s participation this year will grow by 41 percent compared to last year, reflecting heightened interest from key exhibitors. The delegation will include the Ministry of Tourism of India, national carriers Air India and Air India Express, and expanded representation from regional tourism boards, including Goa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
According to Future Market Insights, India’s outbound tourism market is projected to reach USD 55 billion by 2034, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.4 percent over the next decade. The growing appeal of Indian travellers is further underscored by research from STR, a hospitality industry analytics firm, which highlights India as one of the most targeted outbound tourism markets worldwide.
Dubai recorded 3.14 million visitors from South Asia in 2024, with India contributing the largest share to the city’s total of 18.72 million international visitors, a 9 percent year-on-year increase.
Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director of Arabian Travel Market in the Middle East, said India’s expanded participation underscores the country’s diverse travel offerings, from luxury and wellness tourism to cultural and adventure experiences. “This year’s edition will serve as a critical platform for the global travel industry to connect with and tap into the lucrative Indian market,” Curtis said.
The 32nd edition of Arabian Travel Market will be held under the theme “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity.” The event will host over 2,600 exhibitors and is expected to attract more than 47,000 visitors from over 161 destinations, reinforcing its role as a key platform for shaping the future of international travel and tourism.
