Jazan Coffee Cooperative Exports First Saudi Coffee Shipment to Belgium and Eastern Europe

Jazan, February 4, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Coffee Cooperative in Jazan has officially begun exporting Saudi coffee from Al Dayer Governorate to Belgium and Eastern Europe, marking a major milestone in the Kingdom’s efforts to position Saudi coffee as a global brand. The first shipment coincides with the 2025 Saudi International Coffee Exhibition, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to expanding its coffee industry on the international stage.
A Strategic Move for Saudi Coffee
Salman bin Ahmed Al-Malki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Coffee Cooperative in Jazan, described the export milestone as the result of the Saudi government’s continued support for coffee cultivation and quality enhancement to meet global standards.
"This step is a culmination of the government’s efforts to support coffee farmers and ensure Saudi coffee competes on an international level," Al-Malki said, acknowledging the backing from the Kingdom’s leadership, as well as the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jazan and the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture.
Expanding Saudi Coffee's Global Presence
The shipment represents the beginning of a new phase in the international marketing of Saudi coffee, with plans to expand exports to additional global markets in the near future.
