Jeddah Gears Up for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship 2025


Jeddah, February 14, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to Saudi Arabia this Friday for the seventh consecutive year, bringing high-speed action and cutting-edge electric racing to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The much-anticipated Jeddah E-Prix 2025 will host Rounds 3 and 4 of Season 11, showcasing the world’s best drivers in an electrifying display of skill and innovation.


The event is organized by the Saudi Automobile & Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) with the support of the Ministry of Sport, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s commitment to hosting world-class sporting events as part of its broader Vision 2030 initiative.

The competition will see 22 drivers from 11 elite teams navigating the modified 3-kilometer circuit, each vying for crucial championship points. Among the standout names in this year’s grid are:

With Formula E’s return, Saudi Arabia continues to establish itself as a major player in global motorsports. Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s ongoing investment in hosting such events reflects the unwavering support of the Saudi leadership in expanding the sports sector.
