Amman, March 3, 2025 – His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of Jordan emphasized the urgent need to rebuild Gaza without displacing its residents during a phone call with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday.

According to The Jordan Times, King Abdullah underscored the necessity of maintaining the ceasefire and intensifying international humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of civilians in the war-torn enclave.


The Jordanian monarch also warned against the escalating tensions in the West Bank, stressing the importance of de-escalation and the creation of a political framework to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.


King Abdullah has been a vocal advocate for regional stability, calling on the international community to support diplomatic solutions and provide sustained humanitarian assistance to affected populations. The conversation with Trudeau comes amid ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian crisis and explore pathways toward long-term peace in the region.
