Riyadh, October 2, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority is participating in the Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition for the fourth consecutive year. The 2024 edition of the exhibition, which began on Thursday, will run for ten days at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham.


At the event, the authority highlights the reserve's rich and diverse ecosystem, showcasing the various bird species, wildlife, and plant life that play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance. Visitors can explore the reserve's commitment to environmental conservation and its engagement with local communities through initiatives that promote traditional handicrafts and cultural heritage.


The authority utilizes advanced technologies, such as holograms and virtual reality (VR), to provide visitors with an immersive experience of the reserve. These interactive displays allow attendees to explore the reserve's natural beauty and archaeological significance, including the UNESCO-listed Jubbah petroglyphs, which date back thousands of years.

As the largest reserve of its kind in the Middle East, the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve spans four administrative regions: Hail, Al-Jawf, the Northern Borders, and Tabuk. Its vast landscape features breathtaking geographical diversity and is home to several endangered species, including the reem gazelle, Arabian oryx, Arabian sand gazelle, ibex, and various eagles and falcons.


The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about the reserve’s vital role in preserving Saudi Arabia’s natural and cultural heritage while experiencing the beauty and significance of the region’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
