Lufthansa Extends Suspension of Flights to Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Tehran Amid Middle East Conflict

PARIS, October 1, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Lufthansa announced on Tuesday that it has extended the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Tehran due to the ongoing armed conflict in the Middle East.

Flights to Tel Aviv will be suspended until October 31, while services to Beirut and Tehran will be halted until November 30 and October 14, respectively, according to a company statement.

The Lufthansa Group, which includes Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Eurowings, made the decision as Israel reported intense fighting with Hezbollah in southern Lebanon following the launch of its ground incursions.
