Madinah Bus Project Facilitates Over 375,000 Passenger Trips During Ramadan

MADINAH, March 14 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Madinah Bus Project, overseen by the Al-Madinah Region Development Authority, has provided shuttle transportation services between the Prophet’s Mosque and Quba Mosque to more than 375,000 passengers during the first third of Ramadan. The project has operated 7,768 trips, marking a 67% increase compared to the same period last year.
Launched on the first night of Ramadan, the service has played a key role in facilitating the movement of worshippers and visitors, with seven routes connecting various districts to the Prophet’s Mosque, in addition to a dedicated route to Quba Mosque.
The Madinah Bus Project operates 18 hours a day across all routes, ensuring smooth transportation for the growing number of pilgrims and visitors. Additionally, two key stations remain operational 24/7 to accommodate peak demand, reinforcing the project's commitment to enhancing accessibility and improving visitor experience during the holy month of Ramadan.
