Madinah Equestrian Field to Host Women’s Race in January

MADINAH, Dec. 23 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Madinah equestrian field has announced a dedicated round for women riders as part of its 2024 horse racing program. The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, January 3, on the equestrian field’s racing track, located 60 km east of Madinah.

The race will feature 10 women riders competing over a 600-meter course. Interested participants are encouraged to register via the Madinah equestrian field's official website by December 31. Registrants must familiarize themselves with the outlined safety conditions and race guidelines to ensure a secure and competitive event.

The initiative marks a significant step forward for women in equestrian sports within the region, promoting inclusivity and showcasing the growing prominence of female athletes in Saudi Arabia's vibrant sports sector.

This event aligns with broader efforts under Vision 2030 to empower women and expand opportunities in various fields, including sports and recreation.
