RIYADH, March 17, 2025 – The field team at the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve has recorded the birth of a Nubian ibex this month, marking another milestone in the Kingdom’s ongoing wildlife conservation efforts, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority, more than 81 mountain ibexes have been reintroduced across various areas of the reserve as part of its commitment to protecting wildlife and creating an environment conducive to their growth and reproduction.

The authority emphasized that the successful reproduction of animals within the reserve underscores the quality and suitability of its natural habitats for wildlife. The reserve has recorded over 120 births of mammals, including the Arabian oryx, sand gazelle, Nubian ibex, and Arabian gazelle, highlighting the ongoing efforts to conserve and protect endangered species in the Kingdom.
