Omani Sultan Receives Saudi Crown Prince On A Cordial Visit, Strengthening Bilateral Ties


Today, Omani Sultan Haitham bin Trik warmly welcomed His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to the Al-Baraka Palace in Muscat. The Crown Prince's visit to Oman is of a private nature, emphasizing the deep-rooted and brotherly the two nations.


During the meeting, HRH Crown Prince conveyed the sincere greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to Sultan Haitham. In response, Sultan Haitham conveyed his warm regards and greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, emphasizing the enduring friendship between Oman and Saudi Arabia.


The discussions between the two leaders revolved around strengthening the already robust relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia. The meeting underscored the significance of maintaining open channels of dialogue and cooperation between the two nations, which share historical, cultural, and economic bonds.


The Saudi delegation accompanying HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman included esteemed members of the Saudi government, further signifying the importance of this visit. Minister of National Guard Price Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defence Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan were among the prominent attendees from the Saudi side.


On the Omani side, the meeting saw the presence of key officials, highlighting Oman's commitment to strengthening ties with its Saudi neighbor. Deputy Prime Minister of Defense Affairs HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tariq, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth HH Sayyid Yazan bin Haitham, and HH Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said were part of the Omani delegation.
