Over SAR 3 Billion Allocated as Ramadan Aid for Social Security Beneficiaries

Riyadh, March 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia has approved the allocation of more than 3 billion riyals ($800 million) in aid to social security beneficiaries during the holy month of Ramadan, state news agency SPA reported on Tuesday.

The decision, approved by King Salman bin Abdulaziz and based on a proposal by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will provide 1,000 riyals to each household head and 500 riyals for every dependent, SPA said.

The funds are scheduled to be deposited into beneficiaries' bank accounts starting Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Ahmed Al-Rajhi, said the measure reflects the leadership’s commitment to supporting low-income families and improving living standards.
