Riyadh, April 22 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Multinational food and beverage leader PepsiCo has inaugurated its new regional headquarters in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), reinforcing its long-term investment in Saudi Arabia and aligning with the Kingdom’s strategic objectives under Vision 2030.
The opening marks a major milestone in PepsiCo’s expansion across the Kingdom, where it currently operates in 86 locations and collaborates with packaging partners to generate more than 9,000 employment opportunities. The company’s regional presence is further strengthened through advanced production facilities in Dammam and active participation in the local agricultural sector, sourcing potatoes from Saudi farms as part of its sustainable sourcing strategy.
In addition to its operational footprint, PepsiCo is investing in human capital through a series of training and empowerment programs designed to support Saudi youth and women. The “Future is Saudi” initiative equips young nationals with in-demand skills to enhance their employability, while the “Youth Impact Studio” program focuses on developing youth leadership in sustainability. The “Tamakani” initiative has so far empowered over 100,000 Saudi women, contributing to gender inclusion in the national workforce.
These initiatives are fully aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to build a diversified, innovation-driven economy. The participation of global companies like PepsiCo plays a critical role in achieving these objectives by introducing international best practices, generating local employment, and strengthening value chains across agriculture, industry, logistics, and other key sectors.
Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a premier global investment destination, offering an integrated ecosystem that includes state-of-the-art infrastructure, logistics services, and a business-friendly regulatory environment. These reforms have helped attract a growing number of international corporations, with over 600 companies now establishing regional headquarters in the Kingdom and total investments doubling to SAR1.2 trillion—equivalent to 30% of the national economy’s size.
PepsiCo’s continued growth in Saudi Arabia highlights the success of Vision 2030 in fostering an economy that is inclusive, dynamic, and globally competitive.
