Riyadh Municipality Begins Installing Road Signs Honoring Imams and Kings

Riyadh, February 24, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Riyadh Municipality has begun installing road signs bearing the names of imams and kings at 15 main squares in the capital, in a move that reflects the leadership’s commitment to preserving Saudi Arabia’s historical legacy and reinforcing national identity.
The initiative follows a Royal directive from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, based on a proposal by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Field teams have commenced installations and updates to street names to ensure a swift and seamless implementation.
This effort is part of the Riyadh Municipality’s broader strategy to enhance national identity in public spaces, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by highlighting the historical and cultural values that shape the Kingdom’s identity.
