Saudi Airports Achieve Global Recognition in 2025 Skytrax Awards

Riyadh, April 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – MATARAT Holding announced that four major Saudi airports have earned high international recognition in the prestigious 2025 Skytrax World Airport Awards, reflecting the Kingdom’s growing global competitiveness in the aviation sector.


King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh led Saudi achievements, securing 24th place in the World's Top 100 Airports. The airport also won Best Airport Staff in the Middle East, ranked third globally for Best New Terminal, fourth in the 30–40 million passengers category, and fourth among Middle Eastern airports.


King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah achieved 44th place globally, earned a 4-star Skytrax rating, and ranked fifth in the Middle East, reinforcing its growing reputation as a major regional hub.


Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah was awarded Best Regional Airport in the Middle East and placed seventh among Middle Eastern airports, continuing its consistent presence among the top regional performers.


King Fahd International Airport in Dammam was named the second-best regional airport in the Middle East, ranking eighth in the region overall.


This collective recognition underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to elevating the passenger experience, aligning with the highest international benchmarks. The Skytrax World Airport Awards are based on global passenger satisfaction surveys and are considered a leading international benchmark for airport service quality.


MATARAT Holding, which oversees the operation of 27 airports across the Kingdom through its subsidiaries—Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and Cluster 2—reaffirmed its dedication to the Saudi Aviation Strategy.
