Riyadh, April 24 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – His Highness Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al Saud, Minister of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received today Jorge Rodríguez Vives, Minister of Culture and Youth of the Republic of Costa Rica, and his accompanying delegation during an official visit to Riyadh.

The meeting underscored the strong historical ties between the two countries, which this year mark a decade of diplomatic relations. Both ministers praised the progress made over the past ten years, describing it as a foundation for a growing partnership built on shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to cultural exchange.

Discussions focused on ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across a broad range of cultural sectors, including museums, theatre and performing arts, music, visual arts, culinary arts, and initiatives promoting the exchange of cultural knowledge.

The ministers also reviewed opportunities for institutional collaboration, training, and joint programming, with an emphasis on supporting cultural dialogue and fostering understanding between the peoples of Saudi Arabia and Costa Rica.

The visit reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to broaden its international cultural partnerships in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which highlights culture as a key pillar of national development and global engagement.
