Saudi and Moroccan Ministers Discuss Cultural Cooperation in Jeddah
Jeddah, February 12, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met on Wednesday with Moroccan Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid on the sidelines of the 13th Conference of Culture Ministers in the Islamic World, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting focused on strengthening cultural ties between the two nations, particularly in traditional crafts and arts. Discussions built upon the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in October 2024 between the Saudi Royal Institute of Traditional Arts and the Moroccan Academy of Traditional Arts, which aims to enhance cooperation in preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
Both ministers also explored opportunities for further collaboration in cultural initiatives, exchange programs, and joint participation in events and activities held in Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
