Riyadh, April 26 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has officially commenced the distribution of Nusuk cards for the 1446 AH Hajj season, marking a significant step in enhancing the organization and facilitation of pilgrim services during this year's pilgrimage.

According to the ministry, over 150,000 Nusuk cards have already been issued, with a daily production capacity of up to 70,000 cards. The cards are printed domestically in state-of-the-art facilities, adhering to the Kingdom’s highest quality and security standards.

The Nusuk cards are equipped with advanced anti-duplication security features, allowing security personnel to easily verify the identity and legal status of pilgrims. Each card contains detailed personal information, including accommodation data in Makkah, Madinah, and the holy sites, as well as emergency contact information for pilgrims’ designated service providers.

The initiative aims to streamline pilgrim guidance throughout the Hajj journey, significantly reducing incidents of lost pilgrims, while also facilitating access to enrichment services offered during the pilgrimage.

Card production will continue until all Hajj permits and visas are finalized. International pilgrims will receive their Nusuk cards upon arrival in the Kingdom, coordinated through their respective pilgrim service companies. Domestic pilgrims will be able to collect their cards from their service companies at designated gathering points ahead of the Hajj season.

The Nusuk card initiative represents a key element of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to modernize the Hajj experience, ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of millions of pilgrims from around the world, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
