Saudi Arabia Braces for Heavy Rain, Hail, and Strong Winds in Several Regions

RIYADH, March 19 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather alert forecasting gusty winds, moderate to heavy rainfall, and possible hail in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions in the coming hours.
The center also indicated that light to moderate rain is expected in Najran, Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Northern Borders, and the Eastern regions, with weather conditions expected to fluctuate throughout the day.
Marine forecasts show that winds over the Red Sea will shift between northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 15 to 35 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 20 to 40 km/h in the southern part. Wave heights are predicted to range from one to two meters, with conditions described as relatively calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be southwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 15 to 30 km/h, with waves ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters. The sea will remain relatively calm.
The authorities urge residents and visitors to exercise caution, avoid flood-prone areas and valleys, and follow safety guidelines issued through official channels as weather conditions continue to develop.
