Saudi Arabia Condemns Israel’s Plan to Seize UNRWA Headquarters in Jerusalem

Riyadh, October 13, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of Israel’s decision to confiscate the land housing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) headquarters in occupied Jerusalem and repurpose it as a settlement outpost.

In a statement, the ministry denounced Israel’s ongoing violations of international laws and resolutions, and its targeting of UN agencies and relief organizations, which jeopardizes the safety of humanitarian workers. The Kingdom reiterated its support for UNRWA’s mission to provide aid to Palestinian refugees and called for respect for international protocols protecting relief efforts and organizations.
