Saudi Arabia Condemns Israeli Decision to Block Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Riyadh, March 3, 2025 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government’s decision to halt the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, calling it a blatant violation of international law and a direct infringement on the principles of international humanitarian law.
In an official statement, the Kingdom denounced the use of humanitarian aid as a tool for extortion and collective punishment, particularly amid the deepening humanitarian crisis facing the Palestinian people.
Call for International Action
Saudi Arabia has urged the international community to take decisive action to halt these violations, ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians, and facilitate the sustainable delivery of humanitarian assistance. The Kingdom also called for the activation of international accountability mechanisms, stressing the need for urgent intervention to prevent further escalation of the crisis.
The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains dire, with severe shortages of food, medical supplies, and essential aid. Saudi Arabia has consistently advocated for the rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the necessity of unimpeded humanitarian access and adherence to international humanitarian law.
