Saudi Arabia Forecasts Rain, Hail, and Dust-Stirring Winds Across Multiple Regions

Riyadh, April 7 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has issued a weather alert for large parts of the Kingdom, forecasting moderate to heavy rainfall, hail, and dust-stirring winds in several regions on Sunday.
According to the NCM, affected areas will include Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, the Eastern Region, and Northern Borders, where weather conditions may include thunderstorms and reduced visibility.
Meanwhile, light to moderate rainfall is expected in parts of Najran, Jazan, and Aseer.
Wind activity over the Red Sea will vary throughout the day.
In the northern part, winds will shift from southeasterly to northeasterly and northwesterly by evening.
In the central part, winds will move from northeasterly to northwesterly at 10–25 km/h.
In the southern part, winds will shift from southwesterly to northeasterly, reaching speeds of 12–45 km/h.Waves across the Red Sea are expected to reach between 0.5 and 2 meters, with sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be:
Northwesterly to northerly at 20–45 km/h in the northern and central parts
Northwesterly to westerly at 20–40 km/h in the southern partWave heights may also reach up to 2 meters, with relatively calm sea conditions.
The NCM urged the public to exercise caution and follow official updates as weather conditions may impact travel and outdoor activities across affected regions.
