Saudi Arabia’s Virtual Notary Public Completes Over 1.4 Million Transactions in 2024

Riyadh, April 5 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s Virtual Notary Public service completed more than 1.4 million documentation transactions in 2024 through the Ministry of Justice’s digital platform “Najiz,” marking a 60% increase compared to 2023, the ministry announced.

The most frequently used category was social status services, which accounted for over 500,000 transactions, followed by marriage contracts with more than 260,000 transactions. The platform also processed over 220,000 real estate documentation operations, while powers of attorney and declarations exceeded 110,000 transactions during the same period.

The Virtual Notary Public is part of the Kingdom’s broader digital transformation strategy, enabling individuals and entities to access notarial services remotely without the need to visit judicial offices. Services are available 24/7 through a unified electronic system designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and governance in legal documentation.

The Ministry of Justice stated that the platform simplifies access to legal services and addresses administrative challenges, while reducing the time and effort required by beneficiaries to complete documentation procedures.

The system supports a wide range of legal processes, including powers of attorney, declarations, real estate documentation, and family status-related services, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing digital justice services in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
