Saudi Arabia to Host Italian Super Cup for Fifth Time in January 2025

Riyadh, October 8, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The Ministry of Sport announced today that Saudi Arabia will once again host the Italian Super Cup in Riyadh from January 2 to 6, 2025. The tournament will feature Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, and Atalanta BC competing for the prestigious title.

This marks the fifth time Saudi Arabia has hosted the Italian Super Cup. The Kingdom first welcomed the event in Jeddah in 2018, when Juventus defeated AC Milan to claim victory. In 2019, the Super Cup moved to Riyadh, where Lazio took home the trophy after beating Juventus. In 2022, Inter Milan won against their city rivals AC Milan, and in the most recent tournament earlier this year, Inter successfully defended their title, defeating Napoli.

The continued hosting of the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia highlights the Kingdom’s growing role as a premier destination for international sporting events.
