Riyadh, April 11 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Arabia’s travel and tourism sector continues to demonstrate strong momentum, welcoming 30 million international visitors in 2024—a 9.5% increase compared to the previous year. This sustained growth will take center stage at the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, where the Kingdom will highlight its expanding tourism landscape and future aspirations.

The event, scheduled to welcome more than 55,000 attendees and over 2,800 exhibitors from 161 global destinations, will feature a significantly expanded Saudi presence. Alongside the Saudi Tourism Authority, returning exhibitors include SAUDIA, flynas, Qiddiya Investment Company, Sixth Gulf Travel Company, Taiba Investment, Makkah Clock Royal Tower (Fairmont), Cruise Saudi, and L'azure Hospitality. New participants this year include flyadeal, Riyadh Air, Diriyah Company, Aseer, BAAN Holding Group, Makkah Hotel & Towers, Alhussam Tourism, and StayKSA.

These organizations will be featured in the dedicated Saudi Land Hall, an expanded continuation of last year’s Saudi Village, which will celebrate the Kingdom’s cultural, historical, and tourism richness. The area will serve as a visual and experiential representation of Saudi Arabia’s tourism ambitions under Vision 2030.

Danielle Curtis, Exhibition Director ME for Arabian Travel Market, noted: “Saudi Tourism Authority’s unwavering commitment to the event highlights the Kingdom’s rapid progress in establishing itself as a world-class tourism hub and reflects the broader momentum of investment, innovation and ambition that is driving the region’s travel sector forward. This year, ATM 2025 will have one of the strongest Saudi presences to date, with leading airlines, hospitality brands, and cruise representation taking centre stage.”

Supporting this growth, recent research by VIDEC estimates that Saudi Arabia’s Total Air Market (TAM) will grow at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12.2%, reaching $11.3 billion by 2028.

Saudi Arabia’s expanding role in the global travel economy will also be addressed during the ATM Conference Programme, which will feature 68 sessions and 185 speakers across three key stages: the Global Stage, the Future Stage, and the New Business Events Stage.

The Kingdom’s participation in ATM 2025 underscores its strategic efforts to position itself as a premier global destination and reflects ongoing investments in infrastructure, air connectivity, hospitality, and heritage preservation.
