Saudi Camel Sports Celebrates Founding Day with Events Across Riyadh
Riyadh, February 24, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Saudi Camel Sports marked Saudi Founding Day with a series of events across five locations in Riyadh, celebrating the Kingdom’s rich camel racing heritage and its deep cultural significance.
The festivities included a special environmental initiative at Rawdat Khuraim, held in partnership with the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve, running from February 21 to 26. Other celebrations took place at King Abdulaziz Park, the Saqr Al Jazeera Aviation Museum, and Salwa Palace in At-Turaif District, drawing large crowds eager to experience traditional camel sports and cultural activities.
The events featured camel racing displays, educational sessions on the sport’s history and evolution, and interactive cultural exhibitions showcasing the role of camels in Saudi heritage.
Saudi Camel Sports will conclude its Founding Day participation today at the Public Prosecution headquarters, wrapping up a week of celebrations that highlighted the Kingdom’s enduring traditions and sporting legacy.
