His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received on Sunday evening Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor of the United Arab Emirates, Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor of the United States of America, and Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor of the Republic of India.
The meeting was held at Al Yamamah Palace in Riyadh and was attended by senior officials from both sides.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the four officials discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership among Saudi Arabia, the UAE, the US and India, as well as regional and international issues of mutul interest.
They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and South Asia, and stressed the importance of maintaining peace, stability and security in these regions.
The meeting was held in the context of the Saudi Crown Prince’s efforts to strength the Kingdom’s relations with key global partners and to promote dialogue and cooperation on various levels.
Saudi Arabia is a close ally of the UAE, the US and India, and has played a pivotal role in facilitating the historic normalization of ties between Israel and several arab countries under the Abraham Accords.
Saudi Arabia is a major economic and trade partner for both the US and India, with bilateral trade exceeding $40 billion and $30 billion respectively in 2022.
