Saudi Foreign Minister Participates in Antalya Meeting on Gaza Crisis

Antalya, Türkiye – April 11, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah took part today in a coordination meeting of the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit, focused on developments in the Gaza Strip. The session was held in Antalya, hosted by the Republic of Türkiye.

The meeting addressed the deteriorating humanitarian and security situation in the Gaza Strip and reviewed current diplomatic initiatives aimed at securing an immediate and permanent ceasefire. Participants stressed the urgent need for unrestricted access to expanded humanitarian aid and relief operations.

Discussions focused on reinforcing collective action to confront ongoing Israeli violations of international and humanitarian law, particularly serious breaches committed against the Palestinian population. The ministers also reiterated their unified rejection of any forced displacement of Palestinians, including indirect measures aimed at making the Gaza Strip uninhabitable.

The meeting reaffirmed the international community’s continued support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

This position aligns with efforts to support the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution and preparations for the upcoming international peace conference, co-led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of France. The conference is scheduled to take place in New York City from June 17 to 20, and aims to advance practical steps toward a comprehensive and just resolution to the conflict.
