Saudi Supreme Court Calls for Ramadan Crescent Sighting Tomorrow

Riyadh, February 27, 2025 – The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has called on all Muslims in the Kingdom to sight the Ramadan crescent moon tomorrow evening.

The court urges anyone who spots the crescent with the naked eye or through binoculars to report their sighting to the nearest court or observation center to officially record their testimony.

The sighting will determine the start of Ramadan 1446 AH, marking the beginning of the holy month for Muslims across the Kingdom.
