Riyadh, October 2, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The second edition of the Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition is set to commence this Friday at the Expo Centre Sharjah, running until October 13. Organized with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the event will feature over 500 leading companies and brands from the perfume industry across the UAE, the Gulf region, and the world.

This year’s exhibition stands out for its extensive collection of international and regional fragrance products, bringing together major manufacturers, traders, and experts in the perfume industry. It will showcase a grand selection of exquisite Arabian perfumes and high-quality oud, reflecting the rich traditional Emirati heritage.

Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, emphasized the importance of the exhibition as a platform for local businesses and industry professionals to connect with global fragrance manufacturers, strike business deals, and form new partnerships. “The second edition builds on the success of the first, which saw remarkable attendance and engagement,” Al Midfa said, reinforcing the Centre’s commitment to hosting specialized events that contribute to Sharjah’s status as a regional hub for economic, trade, and cultural events.

The exhibition also includes dedicated sections for Gulf perfumes, which appeal to those who appreciate fragrances inspired by Arab heritage. These products are in high demand locally and globally, contributing to the expansion of the fragrance market across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

A special platform, "Emiratis for Oud and Perfumes," has been created to spotlight Emirati entrepreneurs and young professionals, offering them a chance to showcase their products. The event will also highlight innovative new fragrances, oud, and musk blends debuting at the exhibition, further boosting the UAE’s rapidly growing perfume industry, which saw a 31.6% increase in trade during the first quarter of this year.

The Emirates Perfumes and Oud Exhibition promises to be a significant event for the perfume manufacturing and trading sectors, offering exciting investment opportunities and catering to growing consumer demand.
