Second Edition of Islamic Arts Biennale Opens in Jeddah
Jeddah, February 3, 2025 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – The second edition of the Islamic Arts Biennale, titled "And All That Is In Between," is currently underway at the Western Hajj Terminal of King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. The exhibition, which runs until May 25, presents over 500 artifacts and contemporary artworks, offering visitors a unique exploration of Islamic heritage and artistic expression.
Artists have drawn inspiration from space, time, and light, creating thought-provoking works that examine cultural preservation and the Kingdom’s ongoing transformation. The Biennale features a mix of historical artifacts and contemporary pieces, including religious objects, maps, and jewelry, displayed across five indoor galleries and several outdoor spaces.
