RIYADH, March 21 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) — The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) has launched a renewed call to action, urging individuals and institutions to strengthen their support for the ongoing ‘For Gaza’ campaign. In collaboration with the Palestinian Taawon Welfare Association, the initiative is designed to provide long-term assistance to over 20,000 orphaned children in Gaza, ensuring they receive access to education, healthcare, psychological support, and essential services.
The message was amplified during a charity Suhoor hosted at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park, where philanthropists, business leaders, and humanitarian organizations gathered to mobilize resources and advocate for sustained aid. The event featured panel discussions and keynote speeches underscoring the power of collaborative action. An art exhibition by University of Sharjah students raised AED90,000 in support of the campaign.
Addressing attendees, Ms. Alya Obaid Al Musaiebi, Director of TBHF, reflected on the foundation’s 17-year commitment, launched through the "Salam Ya Seghar" campaign initiated by H.H. Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of TBHF. "Today, this commitment remains strong, translated into real actions that restore hope for every child who has lost their family and dreams," she said.
Al Musaiebi highlighted TBHF’s principle of allocating 100% of donations and Zakat funds directly to beneficiaries, with no administrative fees deducted. "We see this as an unwavering pledge and a responsibility we uphold with sincerity, ensuring all aid is delivered fully," she added.
Dr. Tareq Emtairah, Director General of Taawon Welfare Association, outlined the organization’s role in implementing these initiatives in Gaza, emphasizing transparent and effective delivery of aid. He noted that the strategic partnership with TBHF stands as a model for unified humanitarian efforts.
"As part of our broader strategy, we have developed the ‘Noor’ programme to support orphans in Gaza," Emtairah said. "Through our partnership with TBHF, we aim to create a stable environment that enables personal growth and community contribution for these children."
Hind Al Huwaidi, Chief Development Officer at BEEAH Group, also spoke at the event, stressing the private sector’s role in supporting humanitarian efforts and the importance of collaboration between charitable organizations and businesses to maximize impact and sustainability.
TBHF has facilitated several donation channels, including bank transfers via Sharjah Islamic Bank (Account: 0011-430430-002), cheque payments to TBHF headquarters, cash donations at TBHF offices, online contributions at tbhf.ae/ramadan-2025, and SMS donations or contact via +971505350152.
