UAE Appoints Manchester City Owner Sheikh Mansour As Vice - President



ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - The UAE has appointed a new Vice - President.


Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has issued resolutions, with the approval of the United Arab Emirates Federal Supreme Council, to appoint Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President.


He will work alongside H.H. Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.


Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan was born in Abu Dhabi in 1970.


After receiving his high school through the Abu Dhabi school system, he continues his studies in the United States, where in 1993, he was awarded his bachelor's degree in international relations.


He is best known internationally as the owner of the Manchester City football club.


Sheikh Mansour holds a number of key local and federal posts within the United Arab Emirates.


In July 2022, Sheikh Mansour was named Minister of the Presidential Court, following the Federal Decree issued by Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
