UAE and France Strengthen Strategic Ties in Paris Meeting

Paris, March 12, 2025 – H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, in Paris to discuss the strategic relations between the two nations and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation across multiple sectors.


During the meeting, the two ministers emphasized the long-standing ties between the UAE and France and explored opportunities for collaboration in economic, trade, and investment sectors, as well as in cultural exchange, climate action, and advanced technology.


H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed highlighted the continuous growth of UAE-France relations, underscoring their shared vision for comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity. He commended the progress made in bilateral cooperation, particularly in key sectors that support innovation and global economic stability.


The discussions also touched on regional and international developments, particularly in the Middle East and their humanitarian implications. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to working together in fostering peace and stability in the region and beyond, aligning with their nations’ aspirations for growth, security, and prosperity.


The meeting was attended by several high-ranking UAE officials, including Reem bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France; and Omar Saif Ghobash, UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to the Vatican.
