UAE and Serbia Strengthen Strategic Partnership During High-Level Talks in Belgrade

Belgrade, October 5, 2024 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates and President Aleksandar Vucic of Serbia held talks in Belgrade to enhance the strategic partnership between their two nations. The discussions focused on expanding cooperation in key areas, including investment, trade, technology, food security, and renewable energy, with both leaders emphasizing the benefits of strengthening bilateral ties.

During His Highness Sheikh Mohamed's working visit to Serbia, President Vucic warmly welcomed the UAE delegation, expressing appreciation for the visit and highlighting the growing partnership between the UAE and Serbia. He noted that the strengthened relationship supports the shared ambitions of both nations to foster development and prosperity.

The leaders discussed the progress of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between the two countries, which has paved the way for increased collaboration in various sectors. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed reaffirmed the UAE’s strong commitment to peace, stability, and cooperation, particularly in the Balkans. The meeting was attended by a high-level delegation from both nations, including H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and several UAE ministers and senior officials, further underscoring the importance of the UAE-Serbia partnership.
