UAE Leaders Extend Condolences to Saudi King Over Princess's Passing


Abu Dhabi, August 31, 2024 — His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has sent a formal message of condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, following the recent death of Princess Noura bint Abdullah Al Abdulrahman Al Saud.


In his correspondence, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed conveyed his profound sorrow and sympathy, acknowledging the significant loss experienced by the Saudi royal family and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He offered prayers for the eternal repose of the late princess and extended his heartfelt support to King Salman and the Saudi people.


In a similar gesture, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, alongside His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has also sent messages of condolences to the Saudi monarch.


These expressions of sympathy underscore the deep and respectful relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the mutual support and solidarity between the two nations during periods of mourning.
