UAE President Meets Saudi Minister of Defence to Discuss Bilateral Relations and Regional Issues
Abu Dhabi, Dec. 30 (Saudi Arabia Breaking News) – President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi today.
The meeting, held in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, focused on enhancing the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia and exploring opportunities for greater cooperation in various fields to support mutual interests and aspirations.
Prince Khalid bin Salman conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, along with their wishes for the UAE's continued progress and prosperity.
In response, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed extended his greetings to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressing his hopes for Saudi Arabia to achieve further advancement and prosperity under their leadership.
The two leaders also discussed developments in the Middle East, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to maintain regional security, peace, and stability. Key regional and international issues of shared interest were also addressed during the meeting.
Attending the meeting were Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; and Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office.
This high-level engagement underscores the strong ties between the UAE and Saudi Arabia and their shared commitment to fostering regional stability and cooperation.
